Speed/ Mini Wing Endorsement Course
A crucial, SAFA requirement to legally fly highly loaded wings in Australia
Run over 1-2 days, this advanced course is available to PG4 pilots and above.
The course consists of both theory and practical components, including light/ nill wind and soaring flights, and can be tailored to the individual pilot's availability or conducted in small groups.
Pilot Requirements
- PG 4 or PG 5 rating and current membership with SAFA
- Pilots must read safety brief and sign safety waiver
Equipment Required
- Pilots must have their own certified harness and mini/speed wing. Contact Sky Out for advice on size and type of wing if unsure
- UHF radio with SAFA channels
- Paragliding helmet
- High quality Trail running shoes/mid level hiking boots to cope with faster landings
- Protective eye wear (clear goggle type or sun glasses)
